A beautiful Garden to Visit from Airhouses

The Georgian House in Edinburgh

At Airhouses we provide lots of information on things to do and see while you are on holiday but we cannot cover everything as there is so much to do.  We thought that once a week we would mention something of interest which may have been missed.  Today we suggest the Georgian House in Edinburgh The Georgian House in Edinburgh -  A National Trust for Scotland propertyat Charlotte Square.  This is a National Trust for Scotland property and is a re-creation of life in the late 18th Century. It looks at life both upstairs and downstairs.

Airhouses announce a winner of the Limerick Competition

We have a winner for the Limerick Competition which is part of the Treasure Trail at Airhouses.  We are delighted to announce that the winner is a teenager from Leicester and her family have received £400 in vouchers.  The winning entry is:

“We once had a holiday that was good
The houses were all made of wood
The ponies were cheeky
The alpacas were sneaky
And the pigs were all covered with mud!”

The Hens and the Cat!

Our daughter’s cat having a stand off with the hens!  Rollo, who was originally a rescued cat and described as a “Flat” cat, in that she never went out doors but spent her time in a flat in Edinburgh, has been at Airhouse now for 8 months and has taken to the countryside like a duck to water.  If you are enjoying a walk around the farm you may well find she accompanies you.  Rollo having a bit of a stand off with the hens at airhouses
